Nothing CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), will launch in the first quarter of 2025. The confirmation comes from an email reportedly sent by Pei, as shared by reliable tipster Evan Blass on X (formerly Twitter). In the email, Pei described 2025 as an important year for Nothing, primarily due to the release of the Nothing Phone (3). He emphasised the company’s vision to revolutionise personal computing with this new device.

Pei’s email revealed that the Nothing Phone (3) is slated for a debut before the end of the first quarter of this year. So, the launch could happen by March-end.

The Nothing Phone (3) is expected to continue the brand’s tradition of unique and eye-catching design. Its signature glyph interface with customisable LED light strips on the back will likely return, enhancing notifications and calls. Additionally, the phone may introduce a new action button, similar to what Apple offers on its devices.
For the display, the Nothing Phone (3) could feature a 6.67-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, the phone may run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with a slight possibility of incorporating the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite. This handset could be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
On the software side, the phone will likely ship with NothingOS 3.0, enhanced by AI-driven features. Powering it all could be a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
