BenQ has launched the PD2770U, a 27-inch 4K professional monitor, marking its first-ever model with a built-in colour calibrator. It is aimed at studios, post-production teams, and independent creators who want mastering-level colour accuracy without the need for external tools. The monitor was unveiled at the broadcast, media, and entertainment industry tradeshow (14- 16 October), with India chosen as the first global launch market.
SurveyPrice and availability
The BenQ PD2770U will be available from November 2025 across leading broadcast and photography retail outlets and the BenQ India official website. The company has not disclosed pricing yet, but positions the monitor as a professional-grade solution designed to reduce external hardware costs for studios.
Specifications and features
The BenQ PD2770U features a 27-inch 4K UHD (3840×2160) Nano Matte IPS panel that minimises glare and reflections for accurate colour evaluation. It covers 99% of the Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 colour spaces and 100% of Rec.709, and should ensure precise and vibrant colour reproduction suitable for post-production, design, and broadcast work. The monitor is certified by Pantone Validated, Pantone SkinTone, and Calman Verified, which guarantees reliable colour matching across print, web, and video outputs.

The monitor is powered by BenQ’s built-in Light-Adaptive Calibration System, which automatically adjusts colour accuracy based on surrounding lighting conditions.
Connectivity options include RJ45 LAN, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C, and a USB hub, allowing seamless integration into studio setups. For multi-user studios, the RJ45 LAN port and DMS Local software enable centralised colour control across multiple displays. This is a feature typically reserved for enterprise-grade setups.
The BenQ monitor also supports BenQ’s Display Pilot 2 software, offering tools like ICCsync, desktop partitioning, and one-click colour mode switching. Productivity is further enhanced with the Hotkey Puck G3 controller for quick access to display settings.
The Nano Matte Panel has a magnetic shading hood that should help reduce light reflections and distractions to maintain visual focus during high-precision editing sessions.
Now its pricing will determine its position against Apple Studio Display and other professional monitors. However, the built-in Light-Adaptive Calibration System is the key differentiator here. Unlike traditional monitors that require external calibrators, this BenQ model automatically adjusts colour based on studio lighting conditions, ensuring long-term accuracy.
Rajeev Singh, Managing Director of BenQ India, said, ‘With the PD2770U, we’ve built the calibration engine directly into the display, giving small studios and creators the same mastering-level colour precision used by major production houses, in a single, accessible device.’
