The Samsung Galaxy S series has consistently been the benchmark for premium Android smartphones, and the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to uphold this standard. Speculated to debut alongside the Galaxy S26 Edge and Galaxy S26 Pro, Samsung’s next Ultra flagship could arrive in early 2026 with major design upgrades, improved performance, and a redesigned camera setup. According to renders shared by Android Headlines, the Galaxy S26 Ultra won’t stray far from the S25 Ultra’s design language but will feature subtle refinements that make it sleeker and more polished. The device is said to have a more squared-off frame with gently curved corners. It will reportedly be slightly taller and wider than its predecessor but thinner overall, slimming down from 8.2mm to 7.9mm.
The biggest visual change could come from its new camera design, inspired by the raised “plateau-style” lens housing seen on the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to pack Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device is rumoured to feature a 6.9-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Powering the phone could be a 5,500mAh battery with 60W fast charging support. On the imaging front, Samsung might switch to a 200MP Sony sensor, replacing its in-house ISOCELL camera. The setup could also include a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto sensor.
