Vivo has announced that the X300 and X300 Pro will debut in China on October 13. Ahead of launch, teasers on Chinese social media confirm both phones will support a Zeiss 2.35x telephoto converter, shown in black and silver finishes. The accessory is designed to work as both a photography tool and a style element, enabling multiple shooting modes including landscapes, portraits, and candid shots.

On the software side, Vivo is making a significant shift in India by replacing Funtouch OS with Origin OS 6, built on Android 16. The change has been rumoured for months, and Vivo has now renamed its official FunTouch OS X page to Origin OS, confirming the transition.

While Origin OS has been exclusive to China so far, it’s said to bring a more refined and customizable UI, though it remains to be seen if ads and bloatware will still be present. Here’s everything we know so far about the upcoming

Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are expected to make their debut in India by the end of this year. However, there are no concrete details available on their arrival in India.

Vivo X300 Pro, X300 specifications 

Vivo’s upcoming X300 series is rumoured to feature a distinctive “suspended water droplet” camera design crafted from cold-sculpted glass, lending the phones a unique aesthetic. The vanilla X300 is tipped to launch in Free Blue, Comfortable Purple, Pure Black, and a pink shade.

On the hardware front, the series is expected to debut a custom-built Super Sense vibration motor for richer haptics. At the same time, the X300 Pro could sport a Universal Signal Amplifier chipset alongside blazing-fast dual-channel UFS 4.1 storage.

Camera upgrades look serious with a reported 200MP primary sensor. Both models are said to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 with Immortalis-Drage GPU. The X300 may feature a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, up to 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage, while the Pro could pack a massive 7,000mAh battery.

According to the leaks, the X300 could be priced at around Rs 69,999 while the X300 Pro could be priced at around Rs 99,999.
