Samsung has extended its Galaxy Tab line-up by announcing its latest tablet, the Galaxy Tab3 Lite. The tablet is expected to be targeted toward the budget segment as it doesn’t have jaw dropping specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, has a 7-inch WSVGA (1024x600) display, runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top and is juiced up by a 3600mAh battery. There is 8GB of inbuilt memory which can be expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card and a 2MP camera at the back. The Galaxy Tab3 Lite is expected to come in two variants which will include a Wi-Fi only version and a Wi-Fi 3G version.
The official price and the availability of the Galaxy Tab3 Lite have not been announced, but the company has confirmed that the tablet will be available globally. We expect the tablet to arrive in the Indian market by next month.
