WD®, a western digitalWhere to buy 5110 6000 8124 (NASDAQ:WDC) company, and a worldwide leader in storage solutions, today introduced significant enhancements to WD's family of My Cloud® personal storage devices in India. These include a new, redesigned My Cloud OS 3 operating system, Software Developer Kit (SDK) to enable better app integration, and new My Cloud Mirror Gen 2 personal cloud storage device with faster processing capability than previous generations.
WD's My Cloud OS 3 features an intuitive user interface that delivers a rich content-sharing experience and back-up and sync capabilities while retaining the privacy and control of personal cloud devices physically located in the home or office.
"Availability of better infrastructure such as 4G and increased broadband speeds has made it compelling for our consumers to adopt personal cloud. They enjoy the peace of mind from backing up PCs, smart phones, and tablets to and centralizing personal content on their My Cloud systems,” said Khalid Wani, Director, Content Solutions Business, India, Middle East and Africa, WD. "They tell us they are confident in the privacy, control and anywhere access we provide them with the My Cloud OS.
