Transcend announces 8GB, 16GB industrial-grade memory cards

Transcend has announced 8GB and 16GB SDHC100I Industrial-Grade Wide Temperature Memory Cards which can operate effectively in temperatures ranging from -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius. The cards can reach transfer speeds of up to 20MB/s and come with SLC NAND Flash and built-in ECC (Error Code Correction) Function with S.M.A.R.T. ECC helps detect and correct potential transfer errors, while S.M.A.R.T  monitors the health condition of the cards. The cards also come with power failure protection to protect it from damage in the event of a power failure.
