MSI launches new X299 series gaming motherboards

At the global Computex 2017 event here in Taipei, MSI announces three new flagship x299 series M7 ACK, Pro Carbon AC and Tomahawk gaming motherboards for extreme modders looking to build high-performance gaming machines. The motherboards come with RGB lightings (at this point, who doesn't?) and MSI’s VR Boost feature.

X299 Gaming M7 ACK

The X299 gaming M7 ACK features 10+1+1 phase DigitALL power design with Loadline Calibration and MSI’s Turbo Socket. The motherboard comes with a built-in M.2 thermal solution and MSI’s patent-pending M.2 Shield FROZR technology, so you never have to worry about your fast PCI-Express based M.2 SSD to start throttling or lowering down performance. Killer™ Double Shot PRO allows the 2x Killer™ E2500 Ethernet connectors and the Killer™ 1535 Wi-Fi adapter to work together for optimal online gameplay.

X299 Gaming Pro Carbon AC

The Pro Carbon AC features unique exchangeable heatsink covers and X-Mounting accessories to support 3D printing and modding, combined with the latest generation MYSTIC LIGHT RGB LEDs, makes the X299 GAMING PRO CARBON AC any modders' dream!

The motherboard supports up to two additional M.2 Shield, so you can connect any latest gen NVMe based SSDs with ease and also includes MSI’s one-second game boost function that allows for easy performance boost and manual overclocking.

X299 Tomahawk

Built on the iF award-winning design of the original TOMAHAWK, the new X299 TOMAHAWK shows its strength through stainless steel heatsinks and MSI Steel Armor design, making the high-end motherboard much durable in any gaming session. X299 TOMAHAWK also includes the exclusive M.2 Shield FROZR, a design to protect against thermal throttling on M.2 SSDs. Not to mention Turbo U.2 with Steel Armor, front USB type C to maximize your systems data transfer performance through any type of connection.
