LG has officially announced the Optimus L9 II after a series of leaks and speculations. The smartphone, sequel to the Optimus L9, has been unveiled in the Netherlands for now. The smartphone is likely to be rolled out in other markets pretty soon.
The LG Optimus L9 II features a 4.7-inch true HD IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz dual-core processor. It has a 2,150mAh battery. The smartphone comes with infrared transmitter for Quick-Remote. The company did not confirm other details of the smartphone such as camera capability or the pricing.
According to the previous leaks, the Optimus L9 II features 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage, expandable storage, 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera.
The Optimus L9 II will go on sale in select European markets in October this year.
