Google's new 'Start Searching India' campaign will make your life a lot easier. Users will apparently get quick access to all information on a single page.
Google has launched a new 'Start Searching India’ campaign in Bhopal. The campaign brings all the information based on your past searches on a single page. Whether it’s about the weather, or if you like cricket or gadgets, all the information will be made available to you on a single search page.
The objective of the 'Start Searching India’ campaign is to help Indian users save time by providing instant answers to their most searched queries. Google has mentioned a few updates on its official website like live updates Cricket games, product comparison along with the best prices for gadgets, detailed weather forecast.
You can also locate the nearest movie theaters and check information about the restaurants near the theater or information about ATMs as well as other places of interest, all the results will be displayed on single page. This quick search tool also provides quick currency changes and also acts as a dictionary with audio support for pronunciation.
Google India's Director Marketing, Sandeep Menon said on the launch, "Internet is no longer restricted to the domain of working professionals and is fast emerging as a life enriching tool catering to the varied needs of the people from all walks of life."
He added that Google's mission has always been to make search into an ideal assistant: a search engine that understands exactly what you mean and gives you back exactly what you need. The recent improvements to Google Search have drawn the company closer to that vision.
