The Computex d&i awards are organized by the iF International Forum Design. The winning entries are selected by an international expert panel, with evaluation criteria including degree of innovation, design quality, craftsmanship, choice of materials, environmental friendliness, functionality, utility value, safety, ergonomics, universal design, product identity, and product branding.

Acer Revo Build Mini PC: The Revo Build mini PC is for the DIYers that can be customized with blocks providing different functions such as extra storage, speakers and microphones, and even wireless charging. The blocks can be connected via the magnetic pogo pins just like one would with toy blocks, making assembling a kid's job. You can also choose to connect the blocks with other PCs as they also work independently and is quite portable. The Revo Build Mini PC has also been awarded the Red Dot 2016 Product Design Award previously.

Acer Aspire One 11 Notebook: The Aspire One 11 cloud book is powered by an Intel Celeron N3050 (Braswell) along with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB eMMC. It also features an 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels (touchscreen is optional), comes with a spill-resistant keyboard and can run for 10 hours on a single charge, according to the company. The Acer Aspire runs on Windows 10 and has been built keeping home and schools users in mind.

Acer Liquid Jade 2 Smartphone: Launched at MWC in Barcelona earlier this year, Acer's Liquid Jade 2 was also on display. The Liquid Jade 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass screen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 along with 3GB of RAM. At the rear is a 21MP camera with a f/2.2 aperture lens and dual-LED flash, whereas on the front you have an 8MP camera with an 84-degree wide-angle lens. With it, users can connect their phones to a monitor and use it as a desktop through Windows 10 Continuum. The users can easily multitask on this one, for eg. editing a document on the monitor while simultaneously using other apps on the phone.

Acer Predator Z850 Gaming Projector: The Predator Z850 is an ultra-wide HD laser projector designed for gaming. The gaming projector is designed featuring red accents on black chassis with geometric lines, keeping in mind the predator series. The Predator Z850’s advanced laser diode can deliver bright images up to 3,000 lumens with a wide color gamut, says Acer. It can project on a 120-inch screen at a distance of just 47cm, owing to its mirrorless ultra-short-throw technology.

Acer K138STi Portable Projector: Along with the Z850 gaming projector, Acer also displayed the K138STi, a portable short-throw LED projector that packs in several essential entertainment features, enabling people to enjoy cinema on the go without a PC. Smaller than a sheet of A4 paper, the K138ST is quite portable, thanks to its built-in battery and DTS sound stereo speakers. It is also equipped with Acer’s LumiSense+ light sensor that helps the projector to automatically optimize brightness and color saturation based on ambient lighting conditions and content.
