10 awesome trailers to watch this weekend

It’s that time of the week when we list the trailers that caught our attention. The TMNT trailer, a teaser of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them dominated the trailers list last week. This week we not only have our first look at J. K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts but also a look at the trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3, a very cute Ice Age trailer and some news from the final frontier.

Kung Fu Panda Trailer 3

The legend of the Panda continues and in the third trailer we get a lot of reveals about Po’s journey of becoming a Kung Fu master. The trailer is true to all the elements that made the first two movies a hit – it's cute, cuddly and full of humour. The only thing missing are the stairs.

Gods of Egypt Trailer

Mythology meets action- it’s the best way to define this trailer. Another great way to describe this trailer is King Leonidas meets Jaime Lannister. Have we grabbed your attention?

Ice Age 5 ‘Collision Course’ trailer

What if Scrat from the Ice Age franchise was sent into space? Looks like the film makers had the same idea and have projected it in the trailer. What follows is a series of hilarious events that leads to the big bang. What if it all really happened this way?

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

The first trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is live and none of the beasts have been revealed in the trailer. The plot premise seems fairly straightforward from the trailer.  Some of the beasts have escaped and are raging havoc throughout the city. Who is going to save the day?

Deadpool Christmas trailer

The big guy dressed in red wants to wish you a merry Christmas. No, we aren’t talking about Santa Clause, this is Deadpool. The Christmas trailer doesn’t reveal anything about the movie. In fact, it’s a teaser to a trailer that will release on Christmas Day. Fortunately the movie releases in Feb 2016, so we don’t have to wait long to enjoy the Deadpool adventure.

Star Trek Beyond Trailer

In a galaxy far far away…. Oops, wrong space adventure…. Space… the final frontier. To boldly go where no man has gone before… oops, wrong timeline. In this new Star Trek film Spock, Uhura, Scotty, Bones and Captain Kirk are back for yet another adventure. In this trailer we are introduced to a host of new characters and fans of the franchise will be pleased. No ship, no crew and left in the middle of battle this band of space travellers have to save the day.

Independence Day Resurgence Trailer

Will Smith isn’t a part of the trailer and the speculations making the rounds on the Internet highlight why this is the case. Nonetheless, the trailer is nothing short of a spectacular space dogfight. The aliens are back to destroy the Earth and this time they pack in quite a punch. Does Earth have the resources to withstand another attack?

X-men Apocalypse

X-men Apocalypse was in the news recently for offending certain religious sentiments through the trailer, but fans of the franchise won't care about that. This is the movie where we we see the greatest X-Men villain in action. Add to that James McAvoy (who plays Professor X) sports the bald look and we have one trailer that will definitely excite you. Did we mention Storm as a new look that has received mixed reviews?

The Climb - Official Announcement Teaser

Crytek's Oculus Rift Exclusive, The Climb is a game where you go rock climbing in the virtual world. This is the only game trailer on our list. The game looks very exciting especially if you are a couch potato suffering from vertigo.

Fuller House

This is more of a special mention to fans of the orignal TV show. If you were a kid in the 90’s then you know about the fun filled family show - Full House. The show is back and is now called Fuller House. Here is the first teaser trailer.
