If you unsubscribe from them, they will find that your email is active and you will be flooded with spam mails. So better mark it as SPAM.

BTW which email service are you using?

Never reply to it nor try unsubscribing it(becoz u r not subscribed!). If it is coming from same email ID, then add the address to the block list. Else, "Mark it as spam" as other members suggested.

Dont ever do this, never click on so called unsubscribe link ,when you are not subscribed or with spam mails .This way they will know that your email is a valid one with regularly checked by a human.

So you can expect more and more emails not from this particular vendor but also from other spam sources as they used to share/sell email lists .

As other friends suggested , marking it as spam is a good idea , at least you will not see it in inbox.

and if you really serious about fighting with spams, please spare couple of minutes and report at sites like http://www.spamcop.net/

    Hope this helps..

Ok, for gmail, you can Find a Create a filter just to right of the Search Mail, Search Web buttons.Click on it and you will find Create a Filter Options.
Enter the from address from where you receive emails. Enter your address in the To place.

Now proceed to the next step. From Choose Actions Select Delete.
    Now click on create filter.

Note: You can also select Also apply to ___ conversation below to clear the inbox .

Now further emails from that address will directly be deleted instead of going to your inbox....

Reply here if you found this method working.

    I am glad it worked.
Better keep a trash id so that such emails go there instead of your regular id.

Lucky_Star's right here. Best option for GMail.
Sorry 4 the over-look on my side.

But I don't think that "mark as spam" will do wonders in GMail... Filter method is more useful.

Looks like someone is signing up using your email id. May be some freind. You might want to check into that aspect too. Might cause a bigger threat in the future.
