txtWeb has launched a new Android app that supposedly gives users access to more than 150 apps from their smartphone or tablet. Users can check news, stock updates, the latest movies playing in theaters around them, or even check reservations for flights, train, etc with this single app.

Manish Maheshwari, Director, txtWeb stated in a press release, "The txtWeb platform has over 3000 apps making it one of the fastest ways to make content and services available over SMS across India. Already, more than 5mn mobile users access a range of information without internet via txtWeb. With this new txtWeb Android app, we are targeting smartphone users and widening reach by empowering them with access to quick information on the move."

According to the company, the txtWeb Android app gives users access to over 150 live apps and you can also personalize the apps according to your favorites or recently used. The txtWeb application also recommends apps that may be useful for the user. It also has a search option through which you can access and search through 3000 apps from the txtWeb platform.

The txtWeb Android app gives users access to information from various categories like social networks, latest news, job listings, games and much more while on the move. Users will be able to utilize the application whether they are online or offline. It has a unique feature that changes the app to SMS Mode automatically depending on network ability.
