Google has rolled out an update to its Gesture Search app for Android, adding support for more than 40 languages. The update also includes Transliterations support for all these languages.

You can simply draw a number or letter and access, contacts, applications, bookmarks, settings, music, and more all with the swipe of your finger on the screen. You can even use transliteration across many languages so you could write [pinyin] for Chinese instead of writing native characters potentially use more strokes,” says Google in a post.

Google's Gesture Search app also works for languages where transliteration is used more often. For an example, you can write [arhus] for [Århus]. The update also includes several bug fixes. Download the updated Gesture Search app for Android here.
